From London with love
This is the first of a series of entries by guest writers who will share with us their thoughts and feelings during these months, as they have been able to "follow us" and "walk with us" during this great adventure.
Thank you Adriana for opening this wonderful series of entries to our blog, which will leave an invaluable legacy of memories.

I was thrilled when Pipe asked me whether I would like to be a guest writer to his blog. I have indeed followed them with delight almost step by step through social media.
I might add that before they started travelling I had dinner with Pili in Bogota and I remember how excited but mostly nervous she was about embarking on a trip for such a long time and particularly with a young child on board. As a mother of four I sympathised with her feelings in that although a once in a life time experience there could be some challenging practicalities along the way.
When they started their trip I followed their blog and the different entries from Juan Martin that also reflected the same feelings of apprehension that Pili expressed before their departure. Another entry that caught my attention was the one from Valentina, who very maturely wrote about craving her own space. However over time it became evident how as time went by all of those sentiments started to evaporate and the family started to embrace their life adventure on a different level. The mixed feelings blogs suddenly were not there anymore and probably the anxiety of having broken the “mould” had suddenly taken a different dimension. It is evident to all that this life experience has brought to the children more wisdom than what following any school curriculum could have had. This family that was already blessed with love and faith has become my role model to live the present to the fullest, to go for your dreams and to adventure the unknown.
Juan Martin, Valentina, Manuel and Guadalupe you have been blessed with the most amazing parents one can wish for. This trip alone has changed your life from within given you a gift of love, strength, perspective and unity that will stay with you for the rest of your lives.
